Mayur Nilaya (The Peacock’s Abode)

Inspired by the hidden sanctuaries of Indian gardens, Mayur Nilaya captures the peacock in a moment of tranquil reflection among ivory blossoms. This circular disc offers a sense of peace and serves as a sophisticated piece of Ambient Art. It is a centerpiece that tells a story of heritage and natural harmony.

Made of more than 120 individually hand cut pieces, unlike our other stained glass products, this piece is part of our very limited fused glass experimental collection. While our signature line uses traditional leading, this experimental series explores the technical complexity of kiln-fired glass. In this process, multiple layers are melted together at intense heat to create a seamless, painterly effect with a high-gloss finish.
